SMS to book complaints under KSEB Thiruvananthapuram Division

Are you facing power interruption and you are a power consumer under KSEB Thiruvananthapuram Division? Just SMS your complaint to 9495555100. The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) is piloting an SMS complaint facility in its Thiruvananthapuram Division to speed up redressal of complaints.
Your complaint should be SMSes in the following format: name of the section office <space> consumer number<space>locality <space>the complaint. ‘’Sometimes, our phone lines are busy with incoming calls from consumers, especially during heavy rain. We are introducing the SMS facility to avoid this inconvenience,’’ KSEB chief engineer (distribution south) K Radhakrishnan said.
The facility is being piloted in Thiruvananthapuram Division of the KSEB, which caters to much of the capital city. If found successful, it will be extended to other divisions also, according to KSEB officials.
The KSEB is streamlining its complaint response mechanism. As part of a Commission directive on performance standards, the KSEB section offices have started displaying the amount payable to consumers as compensation if services are not rendered on time.
