| As per the Board Order dated 27.05.2009 read as 2nd paper above, Board had accorded sanction to permit cellular mobile service providers and independent infrastructure providers to share power supply since sharing is permitted by TRAI, subject to the following conditions. 1. The other operator(s) share the same tower and that supply is used within the same premises. 2. The license as infrastructure provider issued by Central Government or license of the TRAI for sharing the mobile tower to be produced by the consumer. 3. The electrical schematic indicating the split up details of load used by each mobile service providers should be submitted and it should be approved by the KSE Board. 4. The plan of the premises shall also be submitted. 5. Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) vide Extra Ordinary Gazette Notification No. 2148 dated 27-11-2009, had categorised Diary farms under LT-IV (Industrial) and Milk Chilling plants under LT-VII(A) (Commercial) category. However, under Note (e) of LT-IV (Industrial) category, reads as under: “(e) The diary farms/milk chilling plant with or without chilling / freezing / cold storage activity shall be charged under industrial category provided the chilling / freezing / cold storage load is limited to 20% of the total connected load. | The hiring of private vehicles for official purpose at exorbitant rates and the irregularities in the procedure adopted for hiring such vehicles have been brought to the attention of the Board. On examining the details of hired vehicles under the Deputy Chief Engineers of various Circles as given in Annexure – I statement, the Board has noticed the following:- 1. The rates at which the vehicles are hired are comparatively very high in many offices. 2. The vehicles hired by various offices in the same District are at rates varying from Rs.4.43/Km. to Rs.8.33/Km. 3. Two or more vehicles hired in the same Circles are at different rates varying from Rs.4.50/Km. to Rs.8.33/Km. 4.
