Promotion to the post of Sub Engineer (Electrical) earmarked for Overseer (Electrical) in 10% quota

The following incumbents (list appended) in the cadre of Overseer (Electrical) are promoted to the cadre of Sub Engineer (Electrical) earmarked for Overseer (Electrical) under 10% quota as per Long Term Settlement 2007 and Board Orders read above subject to the conditions enumerated below: 1. The above promotions are ordered in the exigency of service and in public interest. 2. The promotions are purely provisional under rule 31(a) (i) of the KS&SSR 1958 as adopted by the Board. 3. The promotions may be effected only after verifying the Name, Date of Birth in respect of the promotees and also after ensuring there are no adverse remarks in the Service Book of the promotees barring their promotion. 4. The promotees may be relieved only after ensuring that, they have completed 5 year actual experience as Overseer and possess the qualification prescribed in the Board Order read as 1st paper above, discrepancies if any should be reported to this office while counting actual experience in the cadre of Overseer (Electrical), the period of leave without allowances availed as per Appendix XII A, B and C and the period placed under suspension should be excluded. 5. Promotions in respect of persons whose probation have not been declared need not be effected or relieved and the details of such cases, if any, may be intimated to this office. 6. The incumbency of the promotees, noted in this order, is based on the information available in this office and changes along with other discrepancies, if any, should be forwarded to this office by the concerned Deputy Chief Engineers/Executive Engineers. 7. Provisions of KSR will govern the fixation of pay in respect of the promotees. 8. Promotions in respect of those who are on Leave without Allowance as per Appendix XII A, B & C under suspension should not be effected and the details of such cases may be intimated to this office. 9. Corrections in date of entry in service as Meter Reader, Date of Birth etc., which may affect the gradation of the incumbents may be brought to the notice of the undersigned with documentary evidence within 30 days positively. Belated requests are liable to be rejected.
