PRO - Activities

Public Relations Wing arranges publication of all advertisements related to tenders, disciplinary proceedings, statutory notices etc. as per the norms prevailing in KSE Board, release of display advertisement in connection with various activities of KSEB, release of special advertisements with respect to energy conservation etc.
It plays an important role in organising awareness campaigns on Energy Conservation, Electrical Safety etc. Wide publicity is being given by way of advertisement to give popularity to the major achievements of KSEB. Feed back in the form of news clippings of every day is provided to the top officers of the Board and to the office of the Hon'ble Minister for Power & Transport. This wing gives clarifications, negations etc. to the news items that appears against the interest of Board. Issuing press releases is another important activity of Public Relations Department.
The P.R. wing carries out major publishing works, which includes the house magazine – 'Spandanam', compilation of Board Orders and Circulars, Guidelines for the Preventive Maintenance of Hydro Electric Power Stations etc. Still photographs and video coverages of major functions of KSE Board are being arranged as and when required and they are stocked as albums and CD's by this wing.
It coordinates the matters in receiving the visiting dignitaries, arranging transportation and accommodation to them, arranging Press Conference as and when required by the Chairman, Members and the Hon'ble Minister for Power, conducting befitting farewell function and reception to top officials of Board etc.
Public Relations Wing undertakes all the assignments as and when entrusted to this wing by KSE Board, Office of the Hon'ble Minister for Power and Government of Kerala.
The Public Relations Department make every arrangement to take part KSEB in various exhibitions in different places to convey the message on Energy Conservation, Electrical Safety etc. Various awareness campaigns such as Energy Conservation campaign, Earth Hour Campaign etc. are being arranged by this wing. Reception wing forms an integral part of Public Relations Department. It ensures the effective front office management of KSEB head office. The Reception wing imparts information on various queries from those who visit KSEB.
Public Relations Wing does liaison work also on behalf of KSE Board.
